Multan Ghanta Ghar

Ghanta Ghar or Clock Tower of Multan was built in 1884 A.D. during British Raj in Indian Subcontinent. After passing municipal act 1883 British needed offices to run the city. They started constructing Ghanta Ghar in Multan on 12 February 1884 and it took 4 years to completely build this building. It was constructed over the ruins of Haveli of Ahmad Khan Sadozai which was completely destroyed during Siege of Multan.

Multan Arts Council (established: 1975) is located in Multan city of Pakistan. Founded under the statutory provisions of the Punjab Council of Arts (PUCAR) Lahore in the year 1975 as its regional centre for the city of Multan. Its building is located on MDA Road, Multan. It has a hall, art gallery, stage, and a garden. Major events held Stage dramas and performances are held here. It also holds puppet shows, painting exhibitions, sculptures and other activities.

The mausoleum of Shah Rukn-e-Alam is also situated on the fort mound.The mausoleum of Rukn-I-Alam has been admired by not only the travelers and chroniclers but also by the art-historians and archaeologist who wrote the architectural history of the subcontinent.

Shams-e-Tabrez Shrine

No trip to Multan is complete without a visit of Shams-e-Tabrez Shrine, notable for its splendid structure and engravings. It is built entirely of sky-blue engraved glazed bricks which were rare to find in the ancient times. These engravings further add to the bewitching beauty and charm of the monument.

Eidgah Mosque

It was built in 1735 AD by the governor of Multan. This is a very hefty and drudgery mosque with a gigantic courtyard and seven striking domes are designed elaborately. The interior of the Eidgah Mosque is embellishes with vibrant mosaics, and the exterior has glossy blue tiles. It has an innermost water channel and a thriving grassy plot with flower beds in the courtyard.
